My custom REACH Build, Chest progress

After completing (almost) my helmet i moved on to tryna make a chest plate. This took a bit longer then the helmet, but i basically just winged it while referencing pics from the game.
Heres the chest so far...



Just foam and hot glue like the helmet build, A few bits to fix up here and there, but about another few hours work and it should be all ready. Heres a pic of a test fit with the chest and helmet




Ill keep you posted, may move on to arms tomorrow

Sorry man i dont use pepekura, i just drew it out and scaled it by looking at the game and sketching it, Free hand old school modeling, no computer help

Check my older post, it shows how i go about construction

i i see now cool and good job foam helmets are not so coming and are hard to make them look clean ^^

thanks man, yeah free hand is a little weird to get use to and there's a bit of guess work since its not all laid out, but I think it pays off when it comes together.

lol XD i know i was hired to do a work shop on free hand prop making but i couldn't do it on account of my gf being in hospital

Oh hey bro, NZ FTW haha

I got it from Bunnings warehouse, its ment to be used for safety mats for kids or sheds or something, but its about 20bux for four 1metre by 1metre squares

>,< ye i might be doing it for the same people this year at least the guy who asked if i would do it was nice and understood that i couldn't attended and i wasn't the only one who couldn't cos of the snow the week before
