Hello, I have seen Seans orgasmic ODST armor and I always liked ODST armor, so why not wear it in a kinda REAL combat situation instead of video games. Bottom line is, I want to make paintball-durable, ODST armor and need advice.

P.S. ME=NOOB :p

best way to go is mold it ina silicon mold and cast it with the most durable liqiud plastic u can find. i wish i knew one on the spot but i dont. just google it.ha. but anyway it will turn out like pvc. and for paintball just to be sure cast it 1 or 2 times extra make it alittle thicker. and if u want to go all out make it a plexi glass visor might be kinda hard to get but it beats your visor breaking when u get hit. ha hope this helped

If you're using fiberglass, the best idea would be to make it thick, but I would advise caution in this project. The reason airsofters can get away with homemade armor is that their projectiles are smaller. Paintballs travel slightly slower than airsoft rounds, but have around ten times the mass. They can punch through a lot of things an airsoft round might bounce off because the energy transfer is greater. Keep that in mind, and test your armor before you take it onto the field. But no matter what you do, DO NOT use a custom helmet on the field. Even if you take your lens from a paintball mask or other certified helmet, it does not mean that your helmet is certified for play.
