I am using pepekura to make a Halo:Reach Pilot helmet, and i was wondering, what the average person types in for the Height, Width, and Depth, in the scale size on the 2D menu in pepakura.
If anyone knows the average numbers to type in please tell me.

what i sometimes do in that situation is i take a big piece and hold it up to my head where it would go on the helmet and see if it works. like a big ear piece or brim.

If you can get a flexible measuring device of any kind, such as a tape measure, you can measure how big your helmet should be. However, even a basic metric ruler will do. Just measure from the bottom of your chin to the very top of your head to find out how big your head is. However, remember that your helmet should NOT be an exact fit. Make it a little bigger than your head. Leave room for the padding that will go into your helmet. You also want to make it is big enough to keep your jaw from sticking out of the bottom of the helmet when your try to talk.

As for my measurements, I will tell you I built a Mk VI helmet. However, I made it 264 mm tall (the model's default size.

Also, dont worry about changing the width or depth. When you change the height, the width and depth should automatically change too in order to keep the shape the same.
