cant do PMs, hit me up at deathbox@live.com. i have fiber glassed almost the whole War Machine suit so far and am about to go into the Bondo stage.
I live in Riverview and am currently working on the Mark IV armor. I have the helmet, chest, codpiece, feet, gloves and biceps completed. I had to play around with the scaling for the shins and thighs and those are the last pieces I need to make. I've purchased: a body suit, under armor, visor, boot covers, helmet liner and gloves. I should be starting to resin my pieces next weekend, if all goes well. I haven't ordered any strapping, buckles or padding yet. I wanted to be done for Halloween, but work, wife and two kids makes my progress a slow one at best.

Orlando checking in. I think we're hitting Guavaween this year if you guys want to grab a beer in armor 
i'm in orlando too. i work downtown and wouldn't mind meeting up with everyone as well. i'm working on a mark 3 suit. all the pieces are done. well except the abs only thing left is mirroring the pieces and then paint and the other little things that will drive me crazy. if anyone wants to meet up let me know.
Sup. I'm in Pasco/North Pinellas. If you guys need some resin/fiberglass, hit up Fiberglass Services in St.Pete. It's in 62nd AVE. Very helpful people, and they can also special order some Smooth-On stuff. Plus if you guys need some body/filler paint LMK. I know this guy in my area who sells Metalux automotive paint for an awesome price.
Lets set something up then! I know some of you guys are a little further out but what does everyone's schedule look like for lets say, next week/weekend? If you guys want to pick a place that's within reasonable driving distance I'll buy all of us lunch. I work Monday through Saturday but my schedule is pretty flexible and I'm normally home by 3pm on week days, Saturdays I'm usually home by noon. Let me know what you guys think and if you have any suggestions shoot me a pm.
I wish my suit would be done for Guavaween, but I'm going to take my time. I only have four pieces left to make and then start fiberglass/bondo. I've got all the under armor, visor, helmet liner, body suite, etc., but don't want to rush the next three weeks just to get done for Halloween. Would love to get together with anyone near Tampa. My garage is cleaned out and ready for glassing. I have beer, 120 inch projetor screen, xbox 360 and halo reach for breaks. Anyone up for next Saturday?
I also have a 120 inch projector screen outside on my fence if anyone wants to bring their xbox. Then we can play 4 on 4. four inside and four outside. We did this last year in March, playing Halo 3. It was nice with everyone having about 60 inch screens playing teams. And the weather is awesome.
im in the Town and Country area of Tampa, we really should find a place and all get together and build our pieces together. i think it would be awesome to have other people to work with and to help out, not to mention the ideas we could come up with. i try to talk to my wife about it or ask her opinion or even see what she thinks of a piece and she couldnt care less. like the War Machine helmet i am almost finished with, its going to be used for casting other helmets ultimately but i am trying to come up with certain ways of doing things on it so i could use them on the final pieces (magnets and hinges and stuff like that) and she is as useful as cement lifejacket because she doesnt care. you guys think its possible to all get together to work together or something?
also, what we should do is get together on a messenger like MSN or AIM or something so we could all chat together. anyone up for that?
