Hey Traghatti, it was great meeting you and getting to see your suit in person. I wish we had more time so I could look at your suit more. Darn needy photographers, give me a minute so I can enjoy seeing other people's work. =P Oh well, enjoying your WIP thread and photobucket now.
I see you're going to ComicCon, so we'll definitely have to meet up sometime.
I'll be there Thurs/Fri/Sun. Couldn't score a saturday ticket unfortunately.
The other ODST is Mikiru from Cosplay.com. Don't know if he has a 405th account. His costume was commissioned from Savvytank from the 405th forums, who does awesome work. According to Savvytank, the shins are team win, the shoulders and middle stomach plate are Ben Streeper's, the grenades are Joe's (NewSpartanCreator) and Fluffy helped with the pep work. The SMG looked like a modified muckle cast.
The Old Snake is a good friend of mine. And this is what he did with his store bought MC. =P

the wife wanted to go in here ONI recon ODST but it was just to late to get a way up there for just one day but she has a pass to CC so she will get to finally show it off there.

Trooper, thanks for the compliments! my hat is off to your and yours too, your suit was pretty detailed. Yeah I'll be at comicon all 4 days, ill probably have my computer with me, so shoot me an email or something before/when you're down there. It's funny that old snake is your friend, i ran into him last year, think i got a pic with him too As for the other ODST dude, at least its cool that his costume was done via 405th personnel. What hotel are you staying in in san diego? I'm gonna have to walk down the street in costume to get to the convention center :$

Unfortunately no. I would but I don't have money for the trip. Next year I plan on going to anime expo again and also e3.
Wicked suits! you should turn those grenades into soda can holders XD

Hah, well I just bought the molds for them from Joe, so we could try that sometime. =P

I forgot to put the Mickey name tape on the helmet and had to hunt down masking tape. Thank goodness for artist's alley!
We'll definitely have to set a day to meet up again next year and a time to just go out, grab dinner, and swap notes and such away from the hordes of photographers.

Trooper, the light behind that first picture makes you look more spectacular, hehe. Definately would like to trade notes, I don't really know anything about molding armor, I've read a few posts but since I don't have the cash flow to get into it I'll stick to the fiberglass/pep stuff for now. Jumper, sorry you can't make it to expo this year, mb i'll go to AX next year. I'd also like to go to E3, but for only 3 days its super expensive ;o
you can afford to mold armor. I'm on the lowest of low budgets and i can. just go to http://www.405th.com/showthread.php/25191-a-good-tut-on-how-to-make-a-cheap-mold-from-caulk and learn how. i buy the $2.50 tubes at wal-mart
