Hey so after many months of reading and posting questions I decided say enough shinanigains and just dive in and ask any further questions along the way.

My full suit armor build will consist of the following armor pieces:

  • Halo 3: ODST HD Helmet
  • Halo 3: ODST Shoulder
  • Halo: Reach Default Shoulder
  • Halo: Reach Commando Shoulder Attachment
  • Halo 3 ODST Chest and Ab Plate
  • ODST Foam Vest
  • ODST Belt and COD pieces
  • Halo: Reach Thigh
  • Trauma Utility Kit
  • Halo 3: ODST Shins
  • Halo: Reach Left Forearm
  • Halo: Reach Tactial Pad Attachment
  • Halo 3: ODST Right Forearm

Current status is that the ODST Shoulder is currently in Bondo and Sanding (Pics are soon to come). The chest piece has one layer of Fiberglass and is undergoing its second. the Reach Default Shoulder is under its resining.

I did have an ODST Helmet started, but it was scaled too small and wasn't fitting right so it was scrapped.:angry

Generally as a rule of forums please dont post a project saying what you have done and then not show us...

So pics soon would help

Hey, Gallard, sorry about not posting immediately ( My time frame has been hecktec ).

Anyway, here are the photos of the current armor pieces:

Again, the ODST Shoulder needs to be sanded and Bondo-ed a bit more before painting. The Reach Shoulder needs to be resined on the inside and off from there. Lastly, the ODST Chest needs one more layer of Fibergalss on the wings and off from there.

Its looking quite good so far, keep up the work and keep us updated. About how big is that ODST shoulder? It looks HUGE. I'll be using ODST shoulders for my spartan armor when I get to that stage, your's looks epic on the face side.

Well, it has been quite some time since my last post, my sincerest appologies.

However, not all was in vain, I have made severe progress.

My helmet has come a long way (Designed by Kirrou). It has been pep-ed, resinned, 50% Fiberglassed, and minor Bondo work has begun.

My chest has been Bondo-ed, painted, and major detailed. I still need to put the UNSC's stamp on the front and center. I have started a sub-project to interface the chest, by building Hugh's chest base (Many Thanks).

My Shoulder has been painted and detailed. The insignia on the upper shoulder is based on the 155th Armored Brigade (Where my character Sergeant Brian Sanders is stationed). I will be using Hugh's Shoulder base to help, again many thanks.

Finally, it might appear that my armor is too imperfect. Instead I used a Hammered Metal finnish in the painting process and I left several imperfections in the armor to simulate plasma damage (my armor is 4 years old after all).

@Tobias325
Thanks for the compliment, my shoulder piece is roughly one foot in height.

My next transmission shall be sent in an estimated two weeks, till then.
