    Contact with Captain Recon?

    #1
    Not sure if she can still actually see the threads or not, but does anyone uk based have any contact with Captain Recon? Before she was banned she'd expressed some interest in a helm I was working on and the only contact I have with her was on here.

    If anyone could get me in touch with her that'd be awfully appreciated as the helms pretty much ready and I'd like to see what she thinks

    Recon can get me on Sutekhian1(AT)Gmail.com if anyone can pass on the message thanks!

      First of all, you are mistaken. This site is not where you buy or sell armor. We do not condone such practice. We discuss/showcase our skills in making our own armor.

      Second, our armor are very size specific. There may be some members who are willing to sell you a complete set, but , finding the right one for you is very unlikely.

      Third, the materials to build a complete set can run up to $300 USD. A fair asking price for a complete set can run up to $2,000 USD. Are you willing to spend that much?

      Please read the stickies in the noob forum. You may find more enjoyment by making your own armor.

          Because the price of the materials does not reflect the time and labor taken to actually create it? Do you go to the store and haggle with them over fruit that grew on trees for "free"?

            Aside from the fact that this was a long-dead thread and you posted a completely unrelated topic in it;

            The 405th does not sell armor. The site is designed to give you the knowledge and know-how to build your own set. If you stick around long enough and have input into the forums you may find that eventually you will have the means to purchase a set if absolutely necessary. But for now, you can't hop on in here looking to buy things.
