So I decided to drop my original build, i declare it a disaster. I rushed it and i tried to get my self to make it better, but i never felt that push, i guess because it was kind of a old idea for me. I decided to scrap it, but i keep the helmet and guantlets, since those where the best pieces that out of the whole suit, and also a reminder of how bad of a idea it is to procrastinate and not doing it right.

My new armor will be a major improvement to my last one. I am planing on resining and rondoing my helmet and my AR, as for the rest, it will be a foam build.

Where did you find the new EOD? All the versions I could find were of the old style with the individual eyes? Looks good so far though

Small update:

Not much, thanks to school, but i got the butt of my rifle finished. Hopefully during the holiday break i can finish it and pep the knife, and maybe pistol.

UPDATE!!!!!

So thanks to finals all this week i was able t get out of school by 10 or at latest 12, so i had alot of time to work on my AR and i am proud to say that it is DONE!! Peped anyway, i am gona add a barrel later on. I also decided to go ahead and add in the cheek attachments to my helmet, used strips of paper with glue to make "clamps" instead of tape because i read tape and Rondo don't mix. Hoping to get the knife done by friday, and get a box or two to make my pistol using a sliced file. I should get some money by christmas and i will use some off it to get foam to start with my chest piece. Also the last pic is the finished product, hopefully, if all goes well.

UPDATE!!!

I finished making my knife today, it was kinda easy, strated yesturday, finished to day, but only because i had to do other stuff, any way, here it is

(Also i apollogize for the pics i have posted and their quality, they were taken by my laptops webcam)

I was also thinking the other day, what can i do for a secondary weapon, and as i sat on my bed pondering, my eyes fell upon my recon and the suddenly , i had a idea. I have seen several people here mod there nerf guns into ARs and Snipers, so i thought about doing something different. So now i am thinking on how to turn this:

So far what i have planed is a slight barel extension, and also i found a video on youtube on how to mod the recon into a shotgun, a cosmetic foregrip mod. This is going to be incorparated into the design and it will shoot, hopefully, the only issuse is that the thing that will turn this into a shotgun will have to run through the outside, i will just find a way to make it blend in.

Also i finaly got me some foam!! am going to start on the boot some time this week then when i get the hang of it start on the chest.

UPDATE!!!

I decided to start on my chest piece and here is what i have do far:

Here is my progress on my nerf reach shotgun, i wanted to show the actual mods to the gun it self before moving one to adding in the rest of the detail and actually make it look how its supposed to look. The barrel was extended, and i add in the fore grip, the bases of the shotgun, it still shoots, but tends to jam every once and a while becasue of what i did to the barrel.

Stay tuned, i hope to have most of the chest finished by next week.
