Fallout New Vegas - 9mm Pistol

    #1
ABANDONED IN SEARCH OF BETTER STUFF TO DO.

Concept: Turn a airsoft pistol into a 9mm pistol

These were the guns I had and wanted to modify, all of which being 1911 modeled. (not models, modeled, as in they kinda look more like 1911 than anything else.)

I started out by cutting out parts beside the barrel, to make it look like a Hi-Power instead of a 1911.

I then filled those holes in with Bondo and used this time to fill the hole that had screws in them with the other guns that I had outside.

After waiting for these to dry (somewhat) I smoothed the Bondo out on everything, and painted.

The One on the bottom got dropped when my dog came along and decided to sniff what I was doing. She's fine, just some silver on her nose.

Tell me what you all think, anything I could have done to make it better or any critiques are welcome.

dam! thats prety smart. still not got the extended mag ad on for vegs
as a point, the main thing i remember about the 9mm is that the hammer has a hole through it, but other than that you could get away with the sight.

Absolutely amazing idea. If I may suggest two very small corrections with a dremel...Here is an image of the two spots.

Oh and I can take one off your hands if you happen to have an extra...lol.

If I were to make another, it would be fully functional, this one is gutted internally and the clip and trigger do not move.

Thanks for the picture ithica, it shows me what I have to do today!

              Update!

Edit: Ugh, keep misnaming parts of the gun.

Still no idea on how to do the hole, so I think I'll just leave it and sell the gun to a friend, along with a NCR Ranger Chest piece I made today.

                Any tips on strapping?
