Is there a chance for an ODST armor request?

    #1
    Hi guys.

Totally new to these forums but a veteran in HALO universe as far as the theory and amount of knowledge is concerned. So, nice to meet ya all.

I've got a very important question. I've always wanted to have a complete ODST armor which I could cosplay in on several events here in my country. I'd like to ask whether there is a possibility of getting this thing done by "hiring" somebody here on the forums and what might all this fun cost me?

For any advice, thanks in advance.
    Kind regards.

The 405th doesn't really endorse armor selling, some members do make props that they sell, but you would have to get in touch with them for that.

It would be a whole lot cheaper to make it yourself since whoever is going to be selling the armor will most likely be adding the cost of materials to build(I've heard of projects taking up to $1000) along with the price of their time(sometimes up to a year).

There are a ton of tutorials and help files on how to do the same thing the person you will be buying from will be doing to make your armor, and we have a bunch of really awesome game-accurate files to work from!

    Hope this helped.

The ODST is rather simple to do. Give it a try.

Not many people sell their armor. good luck trying to find someone who will.

Yep as stated already in this thread 405th.com does not sell armor or props. We can get in serious legal ramifications via Microsoft, 343i & Bungie as they own all likeness rights to their characters. This is the same reason you will not find any on eBay. So hang out - do a lot of reading.. and then read some more before starting on your adventure to build your own. Every person has a different body type and we're all altering designs made for video game characters so you're going to have to make adjustments to EVERYTHING anyhow - might as well do it right from the beginning.

        Cheers,
        Kensai
