ODST's Armour Wip

So I'm making my armor in Halo. ODST helmet scout shoulders and eod chest. I have one scout shoulder done and the helmet is almost done with pep stage. My paintball Gear is what i plan to incorporate into the suit. I'll get some pics up once i finish the pep on the helmet which should be in an hour or so.

I got the pics of the Helmet Finally. There are a few pieces i cant find but hopefully i will get it together. haha

Telll me what you guys think of my work. and i do realize it is kinda sloppy but im trying to get this done by halloween

i think it looks good sure theres a lilttle warping in the bottom pic but should be fixable when get to the resin stage if plan to use the armor in paint balling might want to armor it up when get to the fiber glass or bondo stage leather or metal plates so paint balls dont destory it cuse we all know how much the brand new balls can hurt >_>

hahha no way am i gonna use that in paint balling, id be a huge target. plus i dont want to ruin the armor. but thanks for the response

welcome. the armor really dose look good im currently trying to find out one last thing about scaleing beffor i start on my marine armor not sure when that will happen tho trying to find a video if possable of how to messure ones self as i can read the information but im a learn by sight person its not working so well for me lol xD

I didnt even scale this helmet and it fits me perfectly. I'm 5'6 and i used the tester model odst helmet.

Sorry about the double post. Anyways I got it resined and plan to get it bondoed in like 20 minutes. Hoefully I can get the full helm done today. Still in a rush to get this done by halloween. C+C welcome.

yeah it just got a lot worse.... I did the bondo and it just looks awful. I'm the worst bondoer ever. So now i need to make another helmet i guess recon. but ill probably do the rest of the armor. I spent all weekend just to throw the helmet against the wall.

Did you make sure to sand the helmet down to yor desired shape? And i think your costume looks awesome a mix of the H-2 and H-3 correct? I suggest spraypainting the vest and camo shirt black or atleast dark grey. Other than that i would love to see a full armor pic!

for the inside did you plastic fill it, or did you lay in strips of fiberglass cloth and then resin over it?

hey there your armour looks great shame about the helmet. i am about to start making my first Halo 3 Master Chief build so i will ad my progress up. it will be a bit dificult for me because i live in the uk and we dont have bondo here so ill have to find a decent replacment. keep up the good work
