You're on the right track, maybe another more detailed coat of paint would do you good. And some more detailing.

    Good luck!

one question for you, when you say "detailing" you mean paint detailing, correct?

A little bit of that and a little bit of well, details.

For example, look at the middle going down (just below the port hole is). In the pic it has more of a 3-D look, as if it's actually plating to keep the armour together. Yours kind of just blends in with the rest of the suit. Not trying to knock your project though man! Just something to consider.

ah i get what your saying, but of course, all that could be fixed before its finished, as long as everything is symetrical and even, then the rest can be fixed. also, i could fill it in with something to make it look sort of 3D. what do you think?

I was think you could just keep it simple and add some cardboard. Then resin it and add the bondo, it'll look great.

well of course i could always use the dremel afterwards and make it look like two peices. and i think im gonna try that. two questions, how thick should the cardboard be and do you think this will hurt the helmet?

Now thats thinking with your head spartan!

You might want to wait until others contribute before doing this. I could be completely wrong who knows.

or i could test it out on something else before i do it. and even though ive painted it, i dont think it will hurt to work on it more then paint it again.
