Halo live action movie : Sons of the Battlefield

Hello all 405th/halo fans,

I am Dominique, director of Sons of the Battlefield, and got a question, do you live near michigan, and got prop making, cgi, actor or any other kind of film related experience, sign up for the 249th regiment!

We are currently working on the Teaser, and have one prop maker at the moment, but we could use some more help on the teaser, we need 1 sniper, 1 MA5B and 2 M6G's, and not forgotten the two marine suits for the teaser. The full movie will include a lot more, but just the help with the teaser is great, and will be very much appreciated. At the moment we do not know if it will be funed or not, but it will be fan made.

Thank you, i got the basic idea for the teaser from the cutscene, and some of the things shown in this art are as well from the cuutscene, but it will be filmed from the spotter point of view by helmet cam. A little bit of Pvt. Jenkins there to give you a basic idea.

Well for a good beginning, I would recomend having it start at the battle scene, an enemy goes down, and then it zooms out to the snipers,

Nice idea, and we might put it in the script since we are currently rewriting the whole thing, but for the teaser we wanna go with a more stealthy, real-life sniper idea, I can't give you any details on that, since that is highly classified information, but I can tell you that it will not be like the art I made, the whole teaser will be viewed via the helmet cam feed, and possibly the scope feed, still in discussion with the team. But I like the idea for the full movie, thank you

And to all others reading this: Feel free to add some ideas as well! We have done it in the past, and actually added some ideas we got from fans to the script version 1. And since we are working on a version 1.1, we will add some new ideas. Keep in mind that the film will be Marine based, wich means NO masterchief, NO cortana and NO ODST's. Thank you for your time!

Good luck!! And yeah.. we hear about films a LOT but we never see them come to fruition.. I hope to see something out of this, because you drawing just gave me Halo 2 nostalgia!!

This movie is about two marines, wich we follow trough different missions at the very beginning of the human-Covenant war, wich means that it is actually before all the halo's released so far. This is the first encounter with the Covenant. The motivation and spirits are high, the only problem at the moment is funding, we are currently in search for a producer, and may have found one. We are certainly do our utmost best to get this movie out on the streets, but that will take some time.

And the whole movie will be in a documentary style, so lots of helmet cam footage .

Seems like a great idea! I'm actually working on a set of Marine armor right now, and a Magnum. But, sadly I live in NY, so I'm not near you, I wish I could help though!

The Marine armor that is needed is the armor that is featured in Halo: Reach and Halo: CEA. If there is anyone that can make that kind of armor set, that would be great!

just to give it a real halo 2 feel you should have a pelican model, or cgi pelican fly overhead of the marines as they lay there

We want to refrain from any known scenes at the moment, i know the art gives people halo 2 nostalgia, but this movie plays even before halo reach.
