    Fallout 3 Laser Rifle AER9

    #1
Almost finished my Fallout 3/New Vegas Laser Rifle. When I started I had no idea what pepakura was. So this 'rifle' is made of cardboard, whiteglue, drywall paste and bondo. I told my friend about my project and he said "Hey! Put it on the 405th!" So thanks to him, that's what I'm doing right now!

This Laser Rifle is finally finished! I'm missing a latch on the left side of the gun barrel but time is tight and I need this for my costume. You also might notice there's no trigger assembly, I intend to bring this prop to school and I'm not taking any chances! I could add one later. I aged the gun by rubbing black acrylic paint into the spray paint (sorry I forgot to take photos of that step)
If enough people want to see the whole Vault Dweller costume I can post some photos after Halloween. Overall I'm quite happy with this build, check it out and tell me what you think! =D

That is a fantastic prop, but I really advise against taking it to school. It probably won't be a good situation no matter how it goes.

Marvelous work. When I played Fallout, I hated the way this weapon operates, but I've always loved the way it looks. So very rectangular.

                      Have fun zapping yer classmates
