Halo Reach Concept Trooper Build

I have been a long time follower and with RL issues, haven't really started on any builds. I came across TD2253 build: http://www.405th.com/showthread.php/...SC-Trooper-WIP and found that it seemed easy to follow. I own the Halo Reach Limited Edition Strategy guide and saw some concept art for UNSC Troopers.

Therefore, with my wife's blessing I am going to attempt my first build. Wish me Luck.

So I started lookin into reference material ranging from Halo Reach Legendary Edition Guide. And some of the following Photographs:

I have figured out how I want to set up my Build. I'll post my ideas up. I plan on creating what might turn out to be a SPECWAR Trooper

I f---ing love the fact that they produce that mofo movie now !!! i waited so long for a professionell halo movie and this one looks fucking awesome. i got goosebombs by watching it

Im curious how ur progress will be . ill watch u mate =D gl on this one

thanks for the words of encouragement. At any rate working on multiple projects. I wish I had an access to a scanner, then I could sport some of the concept art work for this build....

Just ordered it and going to see if those buttons are fully functional. If they are I have an idea of placing buttons on the ODST/ Trooper armor pieces and snapping them onto place. Here are more reference pics I picked up

It looks as if the top strap below the arm pit could be the best way to clip/attach the side armor of the trooper armor laid out by TD2253. The front buttons of the chest piece can hold the ODST/Trooper chest design. I can't wait for that vest to come in the mail so I can start layering it. and seeing what's feasible and what's not. I foresee this build much like a hyrbid between a Halo Reach ODST build and the Forward Unto dawn trooper costume.

sure man, here it is. BTW the vest is a Airsoft replica of the one worn by NEST Operators in Transformers 3.

Thanks, I knew that photo looked familiar. Ebairsoft has a real distinct look to their pictures.

At walmart they have the canon pixma for sale for 29.99 , its a scanner/printer for the price it does a good job.
