Highschoolmusic Thread

if you read the title, but not sub title, I HATE THIS MOVIE!
if you don't live in America and the Highschool musical isn't in your country, I envy you

undoubtably the WORST movie ever made, and the biggest waste of money in the world (which could've been used to cure something rather than a gay movie for tween girls)

anyway, who else wants to take a gun to their head every time they hear the name of the movie?

huh...

well i hate it cuz its just.... well the name explains it all, highschool/musical
it actually makes kids under the age of 12 think that you can actually walk around singing freely, like everybody else will join in, my sister and her friend run around singing numbers from this movie wanting me and my family to start singing and dancing with them, and eventually everybody else (wherever we are, maybe at wal mart) to join in too. i told her "you know people wont sing and dance with you, that movie isnt reality, those things dont happen." and she really thinks that, and thats why i hate this movie. maybe i should be angry at my parents for not doing a better job with her but i'd much rather hate the movie.

you have no idea of pain until your stuck in a car with you southern cousin who loves this movie so much that she has to watch at full volume on her portable dvd and you are trying desperately to shove your zune premium head phones as far into your head as possible. then you know pain.

well, my sister's room is next to mine, and when this movie came to DVD she had to watch it in her room at 1:00 am with full volume, i had like 20 pillows on my head trying to muffle the volume at least a little but i couldnt escape it

they should base a horrer movie on highschool musical...

We have it over here in the UK. Fortunately its not as big. People say they have seen it. I have yet to see a group of people singing and dancing in the street. It's still advertised though. And I've never seen it. Lucky me I guess.

Oh my God, I can't stand the corniness of it. It oozes cornys out the DVD slot if it's played.

I enjoy a good musical now and then, but something serious, like Rent, or Sweeny Todd, or awesomly corny like Cry Baby.

But here in Middle School, it's all I ever hear! Thank god the last one was called "Senior year" That SHOULD mean that it's all done, I hope. I pray there's not going to be a Fall of Reach thing going on and it will be Freshman year.

I find it funny I find girls wearing HSM bookbags at school and they are 17. what has this world come to that shows ment for 10-12 year old kids are being watched by kids in High school?....

ah god i absolutely hate this with a passion, some girls i knew in school ages ago were dancing and singing to this , i just bolted it into the crash mat's in the hall and hope all sound would not reach my ears.

Ya I watched it with my school(I know WTF!?!?!?) and they could've ended the movie about halfway through i mean, one part it fades to black I'm like yessssssssss its over but then it starts back up again and I'm already halfway downstairs and cursing to myself. The company could've made twice as much in the box office releasing two movies but hey, it was either this or do math work ALL afternoon so I had a good nap
