    Everytime I comment on a thread as soon as I check out my subscriptions, I get one saying there's a new post in a thread I've subscribed in. . . That was the post I JUST put there.

    Not sure if its a feature, or anything but I dont think it should do that.

    Is it every post, or just threads you make? I've only noticed it with threads, but I might not be looking hard enough

      Its everyone of my posts. it does everyone else's too, But i dont see why it Notifies you for "a new post" if its the one you just put there.

        It notifies you when a subscribed thread has received a new post. If you reply to the thread then you would be making a new post, which then notifies you of the new post.

          I just noticed what you were talking about. Other vB forums I've used don't do that, not sure if its a setting that got turned on during an upgrade, but it is a little bothersome, especially when you have email notifications turned on too
