Get permission

Hey all,
I am trying to get permission to start creating forum but i am getting the below message.
I also tried to contact the admin but no luck too.
Anyone can help me to get permission and start creating new threads please.

When you are a new member or have a low post count, you are classified as a noob, so you can only post in the noob forum. Once you become a Infantryman then you are able to post in the other sub forums

I believe it is 100, though i could be mistaken. ive never bothered to ask. ill find out for sure and update this as soon as i find out.

I don't know how long I've been a member, but it was 110 posts before I got infantryman status. I'm gonna guess and say I've been on the boards here for about a year to a year and a half. I've seen some post 10 times a day and get infantryman status in like 2 months, but I'm not that guy XD

Not anymore I don't think, There's been more and more people complaining not getting it after 100 posts, I think thee was a dude I remember seeing with 230 ish and still not having it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but do the mods go through the members before they are promoted?

People focus on the post count, but that's just the bar that gets you on the radar. It's still 100 posts to get considered, but "Great job" and "Nice build" posts won't do it. Behavior and contribution are the real bar for Infantryman. Don't get in any battles with other members and focus on being helpful and getting help. That's the real measure. Over on the NOOB forum, Carpatiavh99 is running a mentorship program. Go ask to get paired up with an experienced pep builder--save you a ton of time and lessons learned the hard way. When you are done, come back as a mentor.

As far as not being an infantryman with how many posts I have I'm completely okay with it, I'd rather not have it at all until I have a finished suit to show. I wish I didn't have so many posts and more builds actually...

Ok, I think I've got this figured out. After speaking with a fellow moderator, and him jogging my memory a bit, I believe that the official requirements for becoming an infantryman is 120 posts and 90 days as a member.

This was sort of confirmed today as DocDailey achieved infantryman status. Today (August 29th) is Doc's 90th day as a member, and he achieved his infantryman status shortly after his 120th post.
