I am new to this and was wondering if cardboard can be use instead of fiberglass or hot glue (as support on the inside). Any help would be appreciated.

If you're going that route it's best to skip the cardstock all-together and scratch build it from cardboard. Plenty of great suits have been made from cardboard - pepakura's only use to us is getting the proportions right.

Here's some inspiration for you:

Go for it.

What I do is use thin cardboard. I print out pep pieces on standard paper, and us 3M spray adhesive to attach it. Then cut out, and do it as normal

Boba Fett- Do you use super thin card board or super low definition models cause I know for a fact high definition models would not even work with thin cardboard?
