Inside Padding?

ive been reading some threads here about the different types of padding that is recommended to be used for the inside of your pieces to make them have a tighter fit.

But I guess I kinda wanted to ask / put to a poll of the three ways i have narrowed it down to

1. use foam/eggcarton and line the inside of the armor

2. use underarmor clothes and glue armor pieces to the underarmor

2. use tons of straps and buckles to make every piece sit at a certain position

i am building my first suit, no the pep is not complete but i just want to have the next step thoroughly thought out before i proceed so any help is appreciated :D :D :D

Sorry this doesn't really follow your poll >.< But I'm putting the finishing touches on my first suit now, and what I've found to work best for me is to use polyurethane foam in conjunction with some nylon webbing / buckles. Hobby lobby sold me a big roll of foam for like bucks, that foam along with some hot glue works wonders helping the pieces like the shins thighs and lower arms fit snugly. It's also pretty comfortable. For pieces like the chestpiece and the belt thing though you're going to want the webbing and some buckles to help hold them in place
