Is there a way for mods/ admin/ Adam to set the board's default Sort method to date?

Seems like a lot of necro posting goes on because people actually are using the Search tool, but it's sorting by relevance instead of date - which brings up some very old topics at the top instead of sorting most recent to older.



Could reduce the number of necro'd topics quite a bit.

I agree with this. It's the endless dichotomy of "use the search" vs. "don't necro". It doesn't even search by relevancy very well. Unfortunately, as far as I know it's a real pain in the arse to chance much about how the search works.

Indeed, it's very difficult to find anything, so the necro rules shouldn't be too harsh, especially on new members who don't know about the search's mental disabilities
