Hey, I need some advice. I'm working on a Scout helm, and I'm having some issues. When I put one piece in place, to see whether it would fit or not, and I had to trim it a bunch. Also, there's a buttload of tiny holes on most of the vertexes, and I need to know if that can be fixed up with bondo, or if I need to scrap this project and start over. I need to know if any of this stuff will affect my work in a large way. I'd appreciate the help man! :P

Professional Painting

The paint job is one of the most important steps that anyone can ever do. A good paint job can make poor armor look good. It can make a good armor look amazing. Or, it can make a great armor look like a pile dropped by a Grunt. In other words, you don’t want to skimp on the paint job.

I have been painting for a number of years. Not car or house painting, but painting armors and helmets for friends. Everything from Clone to Boba Fett, I’ve painted almost all of it. Not just painting,

Duct Tape Mannequin

by Jason-078 on 05-23-2011 at 11:04 AM
The first thing that is necessary, from everywhere I have seen, is to make a duct tape dummy. Well, since I already am a duct tape dummy, I am going to make a mannequin with duct tape. I have never done this before because sintra is relatively simple to form to a body (to an extent). You just heat it in boiling water and push it onto a piece of clothing. Well, with the temperatures necessary to mold the foam, that is not going to be an option.

Materials:
● 4 rolls

Crawl, Walk, Run, and Sprint!

Hi, my name is Jason and I am a costumer.

*Hi, Jason*

Ever since I enlisted in the Army back in 2000, I have always heard that you have to learn in certain steps. Those steps are going from the least complicated to the most complicated. For my adventures in costuming, I have seen that there is a similar learning curve. So, that is why I am choosing to begin where I am beginning.

I have worked in sintra enough to be able to crack out a set of custom
