Yes only use it where its needed. Trust me, from personal experience you do not want to cover the whole dang thing in bondo otherwise it will not look as clean and you will be sanding for WEEEEEEKS.

I'm not actually doing a Recon chest, just a Reach one. Though I think what you have to do is make a mark VI chest piece and add the attachment to that.

I finished one of the shoulders...

It's where you add a layer of black paint to give the weathering some texture and depth.

Wow that looks awesome! I personally think the weathering looks good, black wash it a little and I think it would be right on. Keep it up!

From what i can see it looks good! It's hard to get the full grasp of the detail in the helmet with pictures of that size. I can't wait to see that done!
