My goal on the 405th is to share my creations. I am currently working on a complete vector set of all Reach emblems for both primary and secondary with the complete Reach pallette. I also want to create the most complete decal set to date for Spartan amor to share in very clean vectors and not some jacked up live trace garbage. Hit me up if you need a clean trace!

Favorite part of halo: The backstory of the games. More than just what is shown in the games is the story of how John-117 and his fellow Spartans came to be.
Favorite Halo: Halo:Reach. Many of the glitches and bugs that plagued previous Halos are gone, and while there are still a few they are fewer and less noticeable. Also, the back story is referenced (with Dr. Halsey).
Favorite Video Game: It varies frequently, but Pokemon and Halo have been my passions in gaming for a long while now.
Other Interests: I do Kyokushin Karate, and I enjoy reading as well as biking.
Favorite Band: FLOW (Japanese Rock band)
Other: I was in the UNSCDF Anstice Brigade since 2006 until it's recent collapse in 2011.

I came here because I finally decided to start building a Halo armor set, and I figure that it would be best to learn from those with experience and know-how. Several friends of mine (ODST General and S1L3NT V1P3R) have been on this site for a while and so I hope to learn from and enjoy the company of others in the Halo community whom I have yet to meet. I'm hoping to learn how to use the materials commonly used in Halo Armor and gain experience working with the materials and armor.

Ello everyone! Been stalking this site for quite some time now. Seems like one great source for making props.

I'm Raziel. People say I'm a natural talent person since I can pretty much pick things up quick & do a great job. I've favorite the creative area forever I guess. And that would be from mixing drinks, cooking, to making things, fixing stuff, etc etc etc. Speaking of drinks. I wish mi roommate was up to go out for some... Any ways, back on subject

Before I've joined here & as I mention above, I've stalked this community (no, you didn't see me peeping at you, lol). Learned a good amount & a lot of peeps have some great pieces!!!
I did start making a mask about a week or 2 ago. It's sitting outside on the patio. All sanded down. Except the inside. Which is where I need some info on & haven't found it yet.

But looking forward to everyone's project! And a tip for all. Everything comes down to the prep job. You do a great prep job & your work will come out just as great. It's just like paint a vehicle. The prep is what makes it work. So take your time on it. There's no need to rush.

Between my semesters I was looking for something to take up sometime. So here I am. I don't really care for Halo, or to make armor, but I do want to have fun and learn something. That's what I was looking for. I have a three year old son that thinks this is cool and wants a Stormtrooper's helmet, but like I told him, all good things come with time. My wife things its a good way to keep me busy and away from porn. So I can't wate to sink my teeth in and get something made.

Oh man, not gonna lie - looking at the ages of so many people here, I feel really old! And 28 is not old! Anyway...

Bio
First confession: I have never played Halo. Nonetheless, I'm a die-hard RvB fan all the way! My main hobby is burlesque, though I do NOT perform in the traditional style - my style can be described as Industrial Burlesque, which generally includes electricity, sci-fi elements/themes, heavier music, and (my favorite!) angle grinding. Yes, I use power tools in many of my acts! They're fun. I also did an act which involved a 6-ft tall Tesla coil that I interacted with. ANYWAY. I've been dying to do an RvB tribute act, but figured it was a pipe-dream due to the armor aspect. Then I found the 405th! I've been reading everything, watching tutorials, and am ridiculously excited to get started. I adore crafting and costuming, and beyond creating a costume for performing, I have the feeling that I'll want to try my hand at all the different techniques here. Anyway, uh, hi!
