While I know there isn't much you can do about it Kensai, I did want to put out there that the 405th's needs are becoming so varied I think it could benefit a lot from using a setup like Drupal. While it's amazing how much people have done with the forums, it'll never be the most user friendly option for organization. If nothing else, there should definitely be more static content pages like easy to sift directories of reference images, 3d and pep files, tutorials, etc.

    3. Reference Hub

If this has already been brought up then I apologize. But can we bring back the Reference section? Not just a single thread that people would have to sift through, but another section devoted to requesting/gathering/and organizing high resolution reference images for various projects.

I noticed some members making an effort to start reference threads in WIP sections but they get lost rather quickly without stickies. Rather than asking moderators to sticky everything I think it would be much easier on them to have a section created for this sort of thing. I feel like this is a really important part of what we do. Since good reference is vital in everything from 3D production to fabrication.

It could also be a huge help for 3D model requests and alleviate the giant pepakura request thread that just gives modellers like me a headache when navigating.

I have reference that I need help gathering, but I am not sure where to ask and I'm afraid the topic would be lost in a section where that's not what people are looking for.

      Thanks!

A definite plus one. Good idea Hugh.

I also support this notion. My goodness it would be a life saver for everyone.

I was thinking maybe a new battles section where people can plan meetings and 'battles' which would be like well, nerf and airsoft battles in armour

Sounds like an idea, there would definitely be an increase in the nerf-model Halo weapons.

You know, I wouldn't mind seeing the old theme from 2009 again. I remember Adam saying he was going to polish the design a little bit more.

a bit similar to what Hugh said, maybey there could be an easier way to transfer threads. my armour is completed, but it is in the noob section of the forum, and there are about 3 pages of fresh threads there, so it gets lost, its almost like there needs to be a finished armour section, not the elite showcase mind you (my stuff is far from that) but a thread of completed armour.

and another thing, the home page. that is bland. i wait everyweek for that top 25 armour and top 25 inovations to be filled, there could even be a gallery of every member, suited up, a bit the the 501ts
