I plan on using that stuff for my chest piece. Lightweight, comfortable, and easier than cutting/folding peps, if you ask me.

When the glue is still hot and it leaks out from edges, I always smooth it with my finger nail. You can also just go back over it with the tip of the glue gun, re-heat it and smooth it that way. I'm curious to how you're going to seal it. >.> Will it be a kind of resin? or will it be Modge Podge or the like? *waits for the next video*
Here i am.. sitting at the edge of my seat. Not because of excitement.. but because my cat decided to sleep on the other 90%.

what i find that helps is cutting grooves on the sides of the pieces you try to glue together so that the glue doesnt leak out as much
and im also anxiously waiting on how to seal it too haha

He goes a little into the process of how he does his Mass Effect rifles with foam. He basically cuts out a space in the rifle and lays a metal rod where he deems necessary.

Also, Privateer goes over what kind of paints you can and cannot use on the foam:

    7. Would the foam need any gluing?

    8. yes, hot glue seems to be the best glue to use when combining the pieces
