Hi Guys

flyingspartan259 back again, sorry about my absence, my old profile went AWOL

the subject

I want to build multiple assault rifles for filmaking etc but need some help

I am either gonna use:

FLYING SQUIRL's Halo 3 AR

one problem tho:

when scaled fat-hi555's AR main body pieces extend over 2 sheets of A4 (im in the UK) and it is very VERY confuzzibubbling

AND i havent done pep for about a year

1. Print it and tape or glue the piece back together; or
2. Use the "Join/Disjoin" faces funtion of Pepakura (2D Menu - edit mode) to break the piece up.

Update:

I have decided to start the halo 3 AR and have pepped the from hand rest the the bit forward of it where the barrel goes.

Gotta go out on a walk now but later start the bit further back from the hand rest.

Any ideas on how to strengthen it???

Hey there,
I pepped an Reach-AR myself. For strenghten the inside I used pieces of thin cardboard and hot-glued them inside, between the empty spaces. Just to prevent warping and give a little more hold for resinig. Are you going to resin your gun anyway?

Update: PIC HEAVY

Hey Charlie13! Thanks for the advice, i will do that!

Its starting to warp (see pics below)

I dont know if i will resin it because i will eventually be moulding it, shall i???

Please note : the top piece of cardstock was from another file and needed to be cut down and it wont stop warping because the one from this file would'nt fit on paper and i cant work out how to use it so i used the arrow keys whick are VERY VERY slow
