Ok, so i've seen alot of people talk about smoothcast and a few different types thereof.
So what's the skinny on this stuff?
Where do you get it?
How do you use it?
Pros/Cons?
:D Thanks for indulging a clueless noob!

I've never used it, but I've used casting resins to do the same job. Essentially, it does the job of fiberglass and fiberglass resin with 1 product. My theory is to paint on a thin coat on the outside (like fiberglass resin) then once that hardens, pour some into the inside (where fiberglass would be) and slush it around. Turns into solid plastic in minutes.
Pros: non-toxic, and if you have a supplier within driving distance, it's actually cheaper. (resin is about 1:1 costwise to smoothcast 320. the actualy fiberglass cloth costs more)
Cons: if you don't have a supplier, it gets expensive in a hurry with shipping.
