UPDATE!!!!!

So i started painting my helmet. I did primary brown, second gold. It still needs abit of work though. Here are pics.







Im still iffy about how it came out though, maybe the brown was to dark, or the gold was abit off, or maybe the way i set up color pattern isn't 100%. Something seems abit "meh" to me, i don't know. Please let me know what you think about the paint so far. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated. I did not use bondo for this and do not plan to.

I also started on a sliced weapon, the DMR. I am also have a pistol printed out and waiting to get started . Here are some pics of the dmr.





Any advice on how to finish it would be great.

NICE JOB MAN!! d >u<!! I've been watching your thread a lot waiting for some progress pics and Nice job so far. And on the whole Meh thing on the helmet, i know how you feel lol. I solved my Meh-ness if you will by adding a third color for accent, I do not know if this will work for you but i have seen the two colors "Gun Metal Gray" And "Black Knight (Or Night i forgot) Metallic" Go really well with brown and with gold and it may be the thing you need. I wish you luck and hope my advice helps. Keep Building 405th RT Out.
