well meijer and walmart. walmarts is very thick but otherwise, it is all amazing, i am extremely satisfied with the durability, strength and flexibility of the armor and foam all together

I was thinking about puttin some on the soles of my boots to give me a little more lift. Just thought the meijer stuff was too rubbery and soft. I'm using the Harbor freight mats.

Lookin slick!! that buckle idea on the torso is GREAT!! i might need to do that too. also, how are you planning to do the breacher chest?

as a matter of fact, i was working on it today, well its not all on right now, and coated in plasti-dip

Really nice armor and progress so far, I think I just might hop down to the Harbor Freight payday and nab me some foam. Been waiting for the weather to warm up so I can resin/glass my reach torso and such.

Do you use your Exacto for cutting the foam or something else? It's rare I post these days but your armor looks pretty darn cool.

wow dude, looking awesome! Can we get some more pics of how you attached the pieces together? with the straps and such??

the part that kinda sucks, is that i just moved into my dorm and dont have a camera nor my armor........for now. :(

but i should be updating with the things you guys would like to see next week

since i cant have my foam materials in my dormitory, im just working on a MKVI helmet and a Gungnir, and may start on the soft case utility. which i found a neat buckle that will work perfectly for the front.
www.plastic-buckle.com/psy20a-side-release-buckles.aspx

well it seems i'm taking my work to the dormitory so that i may continue
sorry for double posting

oh and if you do manage to read this, has anyone seen any bags out there that closely resembles the soft case utility?

Here is some response to Mflanny34's request

this is a picture of the connection between the shoulder and torso, as you can see i made loops with the nylon strapping and attached them to a well secured piece of foam so that there can be adjusting from side to side. the strapping is sewn together with a layer of gorilla tape.

then here is that section below the armpit and same design on the belt. just where i keep the buckle. ive got the buckle pieces sewn onto the nylon webbing aand a good length of the webbing (3"-5") glued between the layers of foam

and here is a picture of a guy on my floor wearing the top half of the suit

and soon to come, thanks to Iganderson and his awesome modeling, i will be building the Grenadier knees, and then adding on the shotgun shell attachment to the chest. all followed by some more of the strapping of pieces together and hopefully painting... and making a nice pair of boots.

Great build. I'm going to have to look into the whole foam strategy. So far it's been print, cut, fold glue, repeat for me :) Your project is looking excellent.
