I would have to admit that I love this. I didnt even know what it was as the last time I played Metroid was on Gamecube.

I still have my gamecube, the things are indestructible!

looks very nice dude! I'd recommend some glove when spraying like that though... some el-cheapo latex ones should do the trick. I get weird looks whenever I forget and walk around with my palms painted olive drab... :p

mom's a painter, so everyone's used to me being covered in paint.

I dunno, mine died after a small crumb managed to land in the track for the laser disk reader. My original XBox is still going after three cups of soda, two cups of water, half a pizza's worth of vomit, and a snapped disk tray(we had some wicked parties when I was little, haha)...

EDIT: Oops, hit submit a little too quick. I meant to say that I am following this build intently from now on, because my cousin is a die-hard Metroid fan, and I was thinking of getting him into this armoring business for a suit of his own as well. Haha, I bet he'd love to do a PED trooper, I'm pretty sure they're his favorite units in the whole set of games!

wow that an interesting build there, be cool to make a space pirite suit too, hey what type of lights did you use with the helm?

Great work on the helmet and the cannon, and the EL wire looks fantastic!! I may have to get me some of that. Glad to see this suit is still in progress! If I ever finish my Samus we'll have to team up and hunt down some Space Pirates!

i only need to install the gun's lights and paint a glove. I'll post a video of it lit up and finished.
