Thanks
I used NOVOL UNISOFT

darknemisis
Thanks.
In my garage it was cool, t +5C, because of it spot putty badly laid down, was dense/

Well done! I was concerned about the fibreglass "splash out" in picture 2 but it looks as if you have covered that nicely.

I understand the difficulties of working in cold temperatures, but I've cheated and spend the extra dollars for inside friendly materials. :) However, I agree with a previous comment and a hot-box would likely help you a lot. Here's a thread on how to build one cheaply: http://www.405th.com/showthread.php/29900-how-to-make-a-hotbox-for-30

The pep base was very clean, so it should be an excellent base for the helm. Just needs a little more sanding and smoothing. What will you do for the visor though?

Did you see the thing about the visor made of acetate sheet, the odst visor can be made out of only one sheet, and just add some window tint.

Igor....

First off... Welcome to the 405th (since others missed that)

It is always great to see another ODST heading for the fray!
Your helmet is looking awesome and your doing some clean work!

Take your time with the sanding and get yourself a nice clean smooth
look... take time with your details... and ENJOY! Look forward to
watching your progress!

I want to make the vacuum former for visor
Doesn't look to hard to do. There are some great tuts out on youtube showing you how to build a low cost vac form table. Im going to build one soon, when I attempt the ODST. Also, your helmet coming along great. Good luck on the rest of your build & welcome to the 405th!!

The helmet seems big for my head, it so?

It looks about the correct size, with the rest of the armor on it will look perfect, the side shot is the best for scale, and be sure to get it on at the right angle. Kind of like how on the EVA/C , the back is way above the hairline, then theres alot of rubber stuff.

Hi Igor,

Great work so far. I think that the helmet looks like the right size based off of the side shots. Reason being that when you have the rest of the armor everything will even out.

The front picture of the helmet looks distorted, and I am pretty sure that is because of the focal length of the camera you are using. To get the best idea of how it looks I would have someone stand back a bit and take the photos of you wearing it. :)

Hi Hugh :)
I too think that it because of focal length.
I liked your file ODST Chest Assets by Hugh v2.pdo, I think he the most ideal))))))

And thanks everyone :)
