My dad gave me some a while ago, they use it kinda like spot putty. Its mixed just like bondo and its self leveling. I love it. This def helps with the smoothing process. I dont have picks, but I believe its made by Evercoat and is called Auto glaze. Thanks Bradinator for the comments. Be good.

Blackula! I must must must say how amazing everything turned out. I took a long break from armor altogether and didn't get to see your progress until now. I really enjoyed reading through it all, especially with the molding, as I've been trying to understand it so that I can do some casting in the future. You definitely nailed it all! Incredibly inspiring.
I, of course, am now off to investigate your new threads. (:

Okay, so I’m remolding the Commando, I know peeps are probably sick of seeing it but I figured I show the progress on the remold. This was a cast that was cleaned up some by Hyper.

As you can see, I sculpted the detail portion onto the visor and made it more rounded. This is will act as the base of the vac forming buck that I will make for the helmet. Once, finished and hopefully the pulls are successful it should fit any of the previous castings that people have with minor modification. After I saw Thorsson’s vac form buck success, I wanted to try it with the commando. Hopefully it’s as successful.

      Well here are some pics.

      Thanks for viewing!
