      Master Chief on parade

I marched in Canada's third longest parade this past Saturday, the Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Parade.

      And some video -

My friends and I make an appearance at about the 1:39 mark:

It was a beautiful sping day, 24 degrees C (approx 78F), cloudy with sunny breaks and a slight breeze. I had both helmet fans on full blast and an ice-pack under the chest piece.

The entire route was 2.5 Km (approx 1.5 miles). We were very near the front, and were planning on riding the shuttle back to the starting point to get to our cars when the parade was done. After waiting an hour for the parade to finish so the bus would run, we got bored and decided to walk back. The parade lasted another hour.

We posed for a lot of pictures on the walk back:

did this raise any awareness of other would be or shy costumers in your area. i know that where i live there is a stormtrooper, somewhere, but other than me, i dont know of anyone else in my local area? so were you arrpoached by fellow costumers?

Actually yes we were! There was someone in the crowd who approached our Stormtrooper to get some information about us. The very next day we made an appearance at the local Walk for MS and he showed up in a Boba Fett costume:

LongShot - The flight from Vancouver to Halifax only stops once (Edmonton or Toronto), you could be here in about 10 hours
