Thanks Spit, "trooping" the costume has indeed been a blast!

Here's a "twitter" mention of me and my friends by the Prostate Cancer Society regarding our efforts to support their upcoming Father's Day Walk/Run: http://yfrog.com/h0pbgedaj

I'm moving to Ottawa this summer, which is about 500 miles north of Washington, hopefully we'll end up at an event together and I can see your awesome "low-def" costume up close.

My costuming group has raised $1000 for the fight against prostate cancer! On Father's Day (19 June) the Prostate Cancer Society of Canada is hosting a series of fund raising walks across the country. My group (Maritime Heavy Armour) has 'trooped' twice through the downtown of Halifax Nova Scotia, posing for pics and asking for change donations to support this great cause. So far, our efforts have raised $1000! All that's left is the 5 Km walk this coming Sunday.

      Here we are in action:

On Saturday the 30th of July I joined the organizers and supporters of Hal-Con, the fan run science fiction and fantasy festival in Halifax Nova Scotia Canada ( http://hal-con.com/ ) in marching in the annual Natal Day parade.

After marching about 5 km (about 3 miles) in almost 30 degree (90ish F) I still still had just enough energy to bust a move when an oldies radio station set up next to where my friends and I were gathering at the parades finish point:
