Looking great so far, the pep looks to fairly clean, And you seem to be setting a nice pace. All and All this build has the look of something that could be going places real soon. Keep us posted.

Had a go at fiberglassing the forearms, I really hate fiberglass. . .

Gotta stop for the weekend because poisoning the neighbors is generally frowned upon.

Gonna pep the chest in the meantime, I'll throw some pics up as soon as the internet stops breaking every time I log in.

Where do you get your pep files? I'm starting work on a helmet and it's an insane number of parts. Is that just because of the fact that it's a detail-oriented piece?

Also, with fiberglass, try getting the cloth into the smaller pieces and have it saturated before you lay it onto your pieces and then just smooth it on with your hands (but wear gloves!). Make sure to do it in sections, it's a little easier to work with that way

I got one advice for you, don't put to much bondo at the same time you'll loose the shape of the pep piece.

Good advice with the cloth I'll def try it tomorrow.

Are you making the Flyingsquirl helmet? if so then yeah its a very detailed piece with a hell of a lot of parts. I sympathize, I've made two of the buggers! and I gotta make a third XD

Sup Guys long time no post.

I've had a cold for a couple of weeks now and just started resining again today.
In the meantime I've been finishing up the pep with my two assistants,

despite their help,

I got the Chest, Hands and Da Bootz done

In case Chief gets his left and right confused

Finished the helmet pep

Finally everything is peped and resined, yay!
kinda weird that they don't sell white cardstock here, but hey its colorful

started fiberglassing again today

Hows the fiberglass looking?

wow, your folds are supersmooth, it looks amazing
also the fiberglass looks great, it's easy to cut off the few fibers that come out, how many layers of fiberglass have you put in?

Excellent work so far. Your pepping and overall quality of everything is very good. You will no doubt have an awesome Mk VI suit when you are finished! Keep up the great work. :cool

I use 3 layers, just to make sure everything is covered, but reinforcing some parts is just as good
keep it up

More Fiberglass, I think I'm starting to get the hang of it! I don't come in swearing every day after working with it.

Still working on the chest / helmet, and I've got to remake the cod cause I F'd up and it warped.
