Hey everyone i decided to redo my top thread here because i know longer have the previous armor. So here is what i have done in the past 2 days. Also thanks to Ben Streeper for the scaling help. What a great guy.

I am having a bit of a problem. I cant seem to find out how to scale my helmet on the pep design 3? The model i am using is the MK6 Smooth HD, by DANNIFOOD4LESS Not sure if there is a proper scaling formula that is needed to scale this to me but a little help would be nice. The Height of my head from my neck to middle of head is 16 inches which in mm is 406.4. So would i do the height or my wdith or both?

Thanks to my friend Ben Streeper i got the scale. Here is my start to the helm build. Lower mouth part

Well after 7 hours and my hands hurting i have gotten this far with the HD build of MC Mark 6 helmet. Let me know what you guys think.

Cool! MKVI! It was my dream helmet when I wanted to start buildin, but i was introduced to ODST so.. yeah....... It's Clean and very nice, Can't see anything wrong! :D final remarks..... Awesome! xD

Great job Jeff. Just remember, the more time you take now with the pep work, the less time you will have to spend later with filling and sanding. Keep it up.:)

Looking good so far, keep it up, and like vshore said, take your time, there is no need to rush.

thanks everyone for the support, Im almost there and its turning out nicely. Once done i may use Smooth Cast 305 on the outside of the helmet to stiffin it up. And then i will be using Clay to build on top of it. I plain on carving it and making it look awesome. Once done i will then get ready to mold the helmet. What you guys think of this approach?

Here is what i completed this morning. Im not sure but the helmet looks a bit difformed? I may have to use something to make it look perfect before i put plastic on it, any ideas?

The next thing i am going to do is the chest, now looking at the HD one there will be on way i would be able to pep that out with out having it become deformed, would anyone local or near me would pep out a HD Mark 6 Chest? I can print out the stuff out if someone could give me a hand in pepping out the chest and back pack for me it would be great. My fingers and hands hurt from doing the helmet.

if you do the chest, make sure you get the right scale, i have remade my chest for the third time now, i'm not taking any risks and made a tester first

Should i do the HD one or the Low deff one? Should i start with the front or back? Also should i go with using plastic and resin / fiber glass and bondo on my helmet.

Low def for test fit. then do you're high def. Smooth cast is great for molding but for pep you need to be really careful on curing times of how thick each pour is. If this is you're first master, I'd say go with the fiber glass its easier to work with.

I was thinking of using Smooth cast 305 for the outside and 300 for the inside or i will just use fiber glass mate sheets on the inside of the helmet and then resin the outside. What do you think?

I am also having a slight problem with my chest and back pack. When i go to print it out none of the fold lines appear, i have tryed to make them darker and it works in print preview but not when it prints out? Also trying to figure out Scale for everything is tough anyone know how or what to use?

After 3 hours of trying to fix computer problems i am having a hard time printing out the HD Chest and Back pack. I have scaled in to about 550mm which should be good for me since im a big guy. Going to see if smaller parts would be able to be printed out, lets hope.

Here is my chest pep i am doing. I will be using the Chest from Halo Wars and the Back pack from Halo 3. What you think of the combo?
