I'm trying to figure it out for a contest going on at a forum I belong to. It's not against the rules of the contest to ask for help so I'm going out on a limb to see if anyone else might now and can help. I know it looks extremely familiar.

Yeah a lot of guesses have been wrong on Rocketeer but it does looks a bit like the Dark Void Helmet now that you mention it but it does'nt have the ear pieces or whatever they are on the back.

Here's a new photo the face now has a line up the front, nose holes, the mouth area is more flat now, and the face has a bit of a contour.

Reminds me of the Independence day alien exoskeleton suit. That's my guess.

That's what I might have thought too just from the indents, but the face curvature looks like a Mando style yet the mouth is semi flat below the nose indents. This thing really has me curious.
