Helmet Resolution Project

Hello everyone! I have made a new years resolution to start and finish the entire Noble teams' helmets before 2013. In addition to Noble team, I will be doing a CQB and Mk. VI. I know it is very time consuming, and very expensive. But, I feel, with enough determination, I can pull it off. So, here's what I've got so far.

Once I get the Mk. VI pepped, I will start Noble team. The only problem is, with the cold weather, I can only pep for now. Hopefully, I get some warm days within the next couple weeks.

I would appreciate any tips or comments on how I can improve. Only way to learn is to realize mistakes. Thanks guys!

Sorry for the delay. I've been sick as a dog for the past two days. Yet, I managed to finish pepping the Mk. VI. I don't know when I'll be able to resin. Its a bit cold outside. :/ Well, I'll figure something out. Stay tuned!

What I have seen people do us pep everything in the winter, then go all out hardening in the spring. Anywa, this is a cool idea and I wish you luck. I guess I should get to thinking on my new years resolution:)

get a small space heater, and a big enough cardboard box, or wooden box, place heater inside and then put your pieces in the box to harden...ill get pics up when i can. just make sure that the heater dosent get to hot as to burn the box. some people have made them on here

Based on the title of the thread, I thought someone had come out with new high rez pep models :(

You don't need a space heater, just a cooler and a lamp. The lamp will cure the resin without burning it. The cooler will forever smell funny though.

Thanks, that seems like a safer alternative.

Well, I started a Pilot helm pep. I'm on a bit of a binge. I figured I might as well showcase that as well. It's not completely done. It's missing a few pieces, but for the most part, I like it. It's the sturdiest model I've done by far.

Added that little notch thing at the top. As well as some of the side. Honestly, this is the best pep job that I've done to date.
