That easily looks good enough to be a movie prop. I might use your method to try to
build a handguard for my airsoft SVU (bullpup-configuration SVD dragunov) project.

ODST Armor In-Progress (It's taking way longer than expected)
Weapons Progress stopped because I'm focusing on the armor
ODST/Troopers Lobby You'll find many ODST builds (Finished and WIP) to use as your guide when making ODST armor
