Elite Assassination Blade Gauntlet by Zarnel

Making an Elite Assassination Blade to be worn by as part of my Spartan Costume.

If Emile can carve a skull into his faceplate, why can't I take a trophy from the elite I just killed?

Wow, the mechanism looks... complicated... This looks like an interesting build, can't wait to see the finished piece, as well as the motion.

Can I ask if you can do a hand to assassination blade reference? cause it looks as big as a forearm in your pics, but it's so awesome! you must have played with K'nex when you were a kid didn't you? lol

      Here you go . . .

If it looks a little too big on me, that's because I deliberately kept the scale for Elite to human arm the same. (Plus having a bigger gauntlet means I can fit a bigger blade inside.)

And to answer your question, SpartanT117, I played with both Legos and K'nex. I still use them on occasion: I recently used my K'nex to prototype the Dutch Windmill my mom commissioned for her water-garden.

The picture of the Elite officer shows the blade protruding out of the handplate, did you put it in the guantlet because it won't fit inside your handplate? and wow, that's some mad K'nexin skills!!

Well spotted: the in-game blade does in fact come out of the elite's hand plate. I had to trade a little accuracy for the effect of having a retractable blade. The Elite Officer forearm was the only one big enough to fit the entire mechanism for both making the blade move and having it light up. (I'm still working on that last part)

Also, if I tried to make a blade fit inside a hand-plate, the blade wouldn't extend past my fingertips. Using the gauntlet to store the blade allowed for one that is much longer: Full length of gauntlet vs full length of hand-plate.
