Well its a giant shed ... like seriously massive, theres tractors and stuff in it, and once everyone leaves for the night it should be fine, I'll stay out of everyones way so they dont suffer from fiberglass poisoning haha and then turn the heater on for a few hours and chill for a while, turn it off when I leave and hope Ireland doesnt flood lol

These guys are giving good advice. You can get a good organic respirator for about 30 euros on eBay. I know it's alot for a face mask but you get to live your life with out meds or breathing apparatus. Best thing I bought as most of the mediums I have bought require one.

As for drying time in this climate it's not too bad. I have a work shop with no heating and if I resin a piece before bed it's set by morning.

Yay my currency!!! *my DOOMED currency* lolz, I shall ask around, the guys in the shed paint tractors with sprayers and stuff so they might have respirators, Paint gives off fumes right? I dont think they use respirators at all tbh O_O oh dear

Not all paints are toxic but tbh I always wear my mask now if I find anything I am using smells nice :-P

I'm looking into getting an ORGANIC respirator (you guys recommended them types right?) but I dunno which to buy D:

In diy stores here (in the country, I havent gone as far as the city :/ no point really) they have dust masks for like sanding and stuff but I dont see any proper respirators, Im also a little anxious about buying online incase they arent as safe as sellers might speculate, yknow how dodgy things on the web can be.

Do you gyus have any guidelines or standards or something for byuing respirators? Are there different degrees of protection on the things? I wanna make sure I buy a suitable one. FOr now I'm gonna finish my web design assignment and get cracking on more pep work instead of fiberglassing the helmet tonight/tomorrow.

I had a bit of extra cash and bought one from Homebase so was £40 (bit expencive but knew I got something Officially tested). Most respirators should be fine, I am no expert at all. But I do know that it's the filter that matters. You just need to make sure they are gunna protect you from organic fumes.

Would check out the make of mine but am away with the family atm. If you don't find out by the time I'm home will send you more info.

I think my cat is skitzafrenic. if you walk up behind him he'll spaz and sprint off in a random direction. and he claws me when i put armor on him
BTW, the helmet looks great, keep it up.
