cant figure out how to post pictures

1) First thing you need to do is upload the pictures to a picture hosting site. Photobucket, imageshack, flickr, or any others will work.

2) Once you upload the pictures to the site they will give you a set of different codes. You want to look for the "IMG code" (displays the picture at regular size) and the "IMG thumb" (Displays the image as a thumbnail), copy either of these codes and paste them in the thread to have them appear.

Every time I copy the right URL for the pic it shows up as a red X on my preview

Use flickr http://www.flickr.com/ it has a easy share function. Just click on share above the picture. Then use the function "Grab HTML/BB code" make sure BB code is selected for using on this forum. Select the size. Small or medium is best, they can always follow it back to the original to look at it bigger. Copy, Paste, Post, and viola you have a picture
