Emile kukri build

Hey everyone! For a while now, my friend has been asking me to make him Emile's kurkri knife, and I finally decided to do it for him. Now normally, Id put this into my commissioned work thread, but I had quite a hard time finding good pictures of the knife from all angles to base mine off of, so I figured I might be able to help a few people by putting this in its own thread and taking as many pictures as I can. I especially had trouble finding reference pictures for the sheath (I could really only find high quality pictures from like two different angles). I used blu3r1v3r's file, and the knife itself was a normal pep, but the sheath was sliced. I ended up using a combination of corrugated cardboard and cardstock, which worked out pretty well. Here's what Ive got done so far:

























Ok, the knife and sheath have been resined are sitting in my garage drying right now. I should have them bondo'd and maybe painted by monday or so. Stay tuned!

Ok everyone, the kukri is totally done! Ive been working quite a lot on my ODST builds recently, and this was a nice way to mix things up and do something different for a little bit.

Very cool, if you don't sell it are going to make a full suit and if so any ideas on how you'll attach it?

While an emile suit would be cool, Im working on building half the squad from ODST right now, so If I were to make one, it wouldnt be for quite a while. And if I did, Id probably use magnets.

Thank you! and man, those would have been amazingly useful. I've actually looked at your blueprints before (They're awesome by the way), but for some reason I didn't think to look if you had done the kukri.
