ODST Custom--80% Scratch built!

Hey 405th, ladies and getns after too long and no building (reasons vary) Im back, and to my own opinion, better than before. Ive recently finished ODST on my friends XBOX (srry I got dat ps3 ftw) and loved the armour scheme, kind of bridging the gap between mjornir armour and marine armour. So i decided to construct my own illiteration of it using good old foam board. (seriously the only one on 405th to use it) Ill be for the first time using pepakura, as well as EVA foam. so in short a bit of everything for you guys (and ladies, xD)

Double post I didnt have a chance to put up pictures, way to much art to work on in too little time.

So ive got some brief stuff

The beggining of the Assualt Addon

Now I ran into some problems converting the pep file into foam board, It became too small and I didnt notice, so I simply just ripped it off, heres a pic with it on. Also if I made the full Assualt Addon, It would have interfeered with my strapping for the chest

Thats all for now, construction on my rifle will start, and the builds going along smoothly for the may deadline, suprisingly I havnt rushed once

Looking good. To answer your question about Dare. She wears a different BDU, because she works directly for ONI. If you go through Buck's story, you'll see that she has the Recon ODST helm. Which, is used during...what else? Recon missions. Anyway, working DIRECTLY for ONI, and due to do the high importance of her mission, she would've had access to the latest in UNSC tech.

Ive been even more swampped with work, 2 full portraits in 1 day (lots of shading ><) and i have 0 time for building, hopefully Ill get some more stuff done, but im focusing on the shoulders and chest, I'll put the below waist area on hold, and the rifle will be during the march break IF i can make my deadline of "foaming" (putting a layer of craftfoam over the plain foamboard in order to paint) 2 shoulders by then


also, do the sides of my body (specificly the lower chest) look bare? minus the face I wasnt wearing my planned BDU, just a blue tshirt
