So I could't resist and up in the Foam bandwagon

This time for my 10 years old son, he will be a Grunt at the Montreal Comiccon in september and at Halloween 2012.

Here what Ive done so far.

Tthe yellow pep is a quik test part for sizing, was a bit small so added 20%.

More to come as the build goes

Here is the progres so far.

Working on the second leg.

I've completed the legs, it took 3 out of 4 floor mats to do it.

Its kinda bloky, but not for long.

After Half an hour of grinding and sanding its much better

Reworked the Hole for the leg.

Tomorow I'll do the left one, tonight I'm peping an arm to do a size test.

Got to go.

this looks great so far i'm not a fan of foam building, but it looks great will you be building the armor itself out of fiberglass pep work?

this might help if you're doing it with pepakua. it is made by air force spartan's sister, and i take no credit for the creation, but i think you might find it helpful

looking good man! great project to take up! might i suggest you modifying a real world respirator or gas mask for the build, its way easier than a scratch build, and i believe it pulls the piece into a more realistic realm! keep up the work!!!
