Well, since that Dragonpriest staff is on your wishlist... I have the one I did for the tutorial ready.

I have to admit when sculpting for the tutorial I didn't check any game references and decorated it mostly freestyle the way I thought it would be fun to paint/dry-brush for a nice effect - but if you want it it's ready to ship.

To finish you will need to heat the bottom part, insert a staff (wood, pvc) and press the edges against it to make it fit. Once it has cooled off, take out the staff and apply some glue (simplest would be hotglue, I'd probably choose a 2 component epoxy glue or plumbers putty - anything that fills out hollow spaces a bit) and put it back together.

If you want to be certain, put a screw or two in. I'll provide a few extra Worbla scraps you can hide the screws under (unless you want to wrap the handle in leather) or sculpt a smoother transition between the worbla and the bottom part.

Since it needs to be heated to make it fit the staff to assemble it, I can't really paint it I am afraid. Any ideas?

Painting should be pretty simple - 2 or 3 layers of wood glue to smooth out the texture and remaining seams, primer, base color, highlights & shadows (weathering), seal.

I'd love to be able to do that for you Zombi, I know i personally love and admire all the hard work you put into the unfolds for us. I've recently moved so my funds are EXTRAORDINARILY tight (also pretty sure my Dragon Skull WIP got destroyed in the move) so once my funds are under control I'd personally be more than happy to build one for you. Keep up the great work and hope you have a happy new year.
 
Happy New Year 405th! By welcoming in the New year I have some files for you that come from my personal collection! I apologize for not getting to all of you sooner, but I moved into a new studio, and I have been working on some Dubstep projects. Halo and Transformers mainly, but I am getting off topic. These are not Skyrim related but being from my personal collection, that would be expected. You have no idea what gems I have hidden away in my collection. I will drop a few of these throughout the year.

As far as the gems you amazing fans are producing, when you have something finished, send me an email and I will send you my precious addy. Please do not share when you receive it. Then I will post photos of myself with them when they get here. And, if I think of an item or two, I will surely mention it. I am a sword and helmet kinda guy. wink, wink.

But anywho, back on topic...

These are the Gears of War Holiday Helmets! I do not remember which game in particular these came from, but during the holidays these were released as in game stuff. I don't know if others could wear them at anytime, but now you can! I only have four for you, but enjoy them as the first files of the new year! Make sure to scale them for yourself before printing! Enjoy!

All right, the last finished one from me for now:

The Savior's Hide

and my finished weapon (yay, HUGE weapon, but still a little downsized from the original file for my height):

Those are NOT the spikes that came with the file, I used pumpin teeth and attached them with friendly plastic.
Also I did not paint the bottom of the weapon - it's covered in friendly plastic and might make contact with the floor - unpainted I can fix any damage with a little heat in a matter of minutes.
Yeah, it's a little bit too white for my taste but I am practical, this thing will get some use - if it was mainly for decoration I'd have painted it - if I no longer use it for conventions I might give it a final touch. WIP: http://i56.servimg.com/u/f56/16/58/54/97/dragon14.jpg

Future projects: Haven't decided yet which bracers or legs would go with it - the female orc & nordic carved both look like good candidates.
 
how many layers of papermache do you use to get the angles out of it and smooth it out....? I am amazed

I have a couple zombiegrimm files peps still in paper mode, I want to see if the dragon skull can handle this method... love how effortless everyone makes these builds look.. lol
 
well, i have made a few dragon priest masks.
i have one that i havent painted yet. im ordering more rebound so i can make all of them :)

i do want to make the dagger, but the weather is soo cold here i cant do much.

Hello once again 405th! Sorry, for the late reply, but I'm been cracking down on a few other projects. One such project has a deadline of before Jan. 25th. Wizard World is swinging by Portland, OR and I am totally going to be there. Hopefully, I have enough time to create a project from scratch. Normally, I put months and months into a project, and doing this in a few weeks has been tricky. Plus, I'm working on a Pyramid Head/ Big Daddy crossover costume.

I do have a weapon that I forgot to release with that last pack, so I'll save it for the next one. Does anyone know what I should attempt next, or should I just wing it and pick something? I know there are still a bunch of items left.

I have been pondering whether to release more files from my personal collection, and I've decided to sprinkle them throughout the year. It may be a little while before you get something new from my collection, but rest assured, I will be working hard to bring another batch of Skyrim files.
 
Hmm, I would have to say either Falmer, Stahlrim, or Stormcloak Officer armor (at least the gauntlets and boots) for upcoming releases. The Stormcloak could be a bit difficult because so much of it is cloth or simply leather straps, but the spiked plates on the boots and gauntlets would be pep-able. Stahlrim could also be a bit of a pain, as it is mainly cloth armor with plating added to key areas. Suppose that leaves the Falmer armors as the most "straight forward" of the bunch, both the regular and the heavy/hardened variant added by the DLC.
 
Hello once again 405th! I wanted to drop a quick update. I'm slowly working on getting pieces finished. Right now, I'm working on Male and Female Falmer armor. I'm in the middle of separating both Male and Female into smaller pieces. Looking through my files, it would seem that I do not have the Hardened Version for Falmer armor. Weird, right? So, if someone can get me Male and Female Armors in obj format, I will credit them with finding the models, and I will unfold them. I'm also looking but so far no such luck.
 
Hello there zombiegrimm, first off i wanted to say a huge thankyou for all the awesome pep files you have provided for us all so far, indeed i have just finished printing out the ancient nord armour, draugr arrowhead/quiver and steel sword files having prepped them to use with eva foam, which leads me to a question i wanted to ask, when you have the chance may i humbly request as a devotee to your awesome, would there be a chance that you could provide a few more bow pep files please?

Mmh, it's true, there are few bows so far. Auriel's Bow, the Nightingale, Nord or the Dwarven design come to mind. A non-spiky variant to chose from would be nice. Dawnguard has also crossbows, that is something that hasn't been done yet but I am not sure it would be a priority. At least in game, I never had much use for them, they seem a bit out of place in the setting.
 
Hello once again 405th! Fear not, as I almost have a few more files for you. I think I finished the Male set, and just now working on the Female set. After this drop of files, I'll be working on other Skyrim stuff. Maybe some armor pieces from the Dragonborn DLC! Who knows. But I will also try to get some more bows out. Maybe even the crossbow, as it doesn't look too difficult to unfold. We will see!

Hello once again 405th! I have a few files for you to enjoy. I would have had them sooner, but I really wanted to go to this upcoming comic con, on the 25th in Portland, in costume. I managed to get my costume finished just in time and was able to get these files to you! I'm working on the next batch, which will probably be a lot of weapons. Not sure on a time frame as I will be going to be making the final tweeks to the costume before Saturday. I made a Silent Hill/ Bioshock crossover costume, of a Big Daddy Pyramid Head. I like referring to it as Silent Shock. I'll post pictures on my DeviantArt after con. if you're in the area and going to con, make sure to get a picture and say hi.

Enough of that, time for some files! I have one weapon and an armor set. Male and female versions. Make sure to scale the armor for yourself! Enjoy!

Wow, thanks for the new files! Personally, I love organic armor and the Falmer set looks like it would be a lot of fun to get creative with.
