Skyrim Pepakura Files

Hello fellow Skyrim fans! I'm just dropping a quick update. I'm unfolding files as we speak, so that means I should have something for everyone in the next few days. I appreciate my hardcore fans showing others the right direction for the finding of my other files. If you cannot find it, it means I've got it on my DeviantArt page, or I haven't gotten to it yet.
So, look forward to some new files from me soon!
Hi
I'm making a Dwarven cosplay for an event in 80 days, during many of those days i will be busy. The Dwarven files are good, but they're missing the Greatsword, which i would very much appreciate the file for. If this is one of the new ones coming out, could you let me know? If it isn't amongst them, could you tell me how long it would take to design? If it does take too long, i guess i could fashion one out of wood, but it would be much harder and with less detail.
If you have a lot on your plate, dont worry about it, because the wooden alternative would be a nice weight, so it isn't a bad backup plan.
Thanks for the files.

P.S The downward slope of the pauldron gets a bit too shallow near the end, maybe thats just for structural integrity, but it's just a minor thing. Also, and i dont know if my hand is weird or not, the gauntlet i printed off has finger plates that are the right size (i think) but the plate for the top of the hand is too big by an inch.

Jofflofogus, Zombie pretty much just extracts, cleans, and unfolds the 3D files straight from the game. He doesn't actually construct the models himself. That would take an insane amount of time and the list of models on this thread would be much, much smaller otherwise. The proportions (such as finger plates to hand plate) are therefore based entirely on the in-game character model. Some adjustments may have to be made to fit your own unique proportions.

Hello once again 405th Skyrim fans! I am back once again to answer some questions and drop some files. Zaff, I greatly appreciate you pointing people in the right directions. You have definitely made the list for my next thread when it becomes available. You will have access to files others will not.
I do take the models from the game, and clean them up as best as possible for others to work with. I always stress that people make sure to scale for themselves because the models are from the game. Especially the armor parts. Nonetheless, I will continue to release as many as I can. I can do the Dwarven Great Sword as soon as possible, but it will be cleaned up for pepakura. Parts that intersect and what not will be removed for easier building. And now, onto the files!
I have only three because I'm working on my own Halo 4 costume for Rose City Comic Con in Sept. I'll try to add more next time around! If there are suggestions for other weapons/ armor, I'll take them. The three files are the Nightingale Bow, the Silver Sword and the Silver Great Sword. Don't forget to credit me with creating the files when posting your things online, but otherwise enjoy!

And thank you as well. I appreciate the recognition, and more importantly, I, among many, many others, appreciate all the work you're putting into this vast project.

I do believe there was a request on the previous page for the Dawnguard ax. You've already tackled the brunt of the peppable armor pieces and I think you've pretty much nailed down all the dragonbone weapons added by the Dawnguard expansion, but it doesn't look like the "official" Dawnguard weapons, the axe, hammer, crossbow, and dwarven crossbow, have been done yet. Although I can imagine the crossbows might find themselves towards the end of the overall list, as the basic one seems fairly straightforward for a free-hand project, and the dwarven crossbow (which on my third playthrough I finally got around to getting one) looks like it would be a nightmare to clean up and just as bad to pep.

Always good to see more releases. I had completely forgotten about the Silver weapons. I don't really ever use them because by the time I get around to when they become prevalent, I've already found much more effective weapons. Being unable to enhance them certainly doesn't help, which is a pity because I actually like the overall shape and "feel" of them. Can't wait to see what comes next. It's like Christmas all year long around here.

Hello people, first post here ^^

Thanking mr zombiegrimm for doing this amazing work ^^ i recently completed my first piece for a friend, note i have never played skyrim so i had no idea what it was supposed to look like and i only had black and gold paint at the time~so i apologise if this image offends anyone~

more to come hopefully~
Looks pretty good, i can imagine the backstory to be that many years after the Dragonborn died/lost it, some adventurer digs it up, an ancient dagger of great power.
If it wasn't glossy i think it would look more suited to a weathered look.
Also thank you Zombie for agreeing to make Dwarven Greatsword. I think im going to use wooden dowel and fill it with fiberglass too.

I really didnt think too much on a backstory xD i suppose it could have been dug up by some religious fanatic and polished and cleaned a bit and put in a museum or church or somthing to display it~to explain the shineyness~

Zombie,
I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for all that you are doing. I know it takes alot of skill and patience to do what you have been doing for us with these Skyrim files. I just want to remind you how much we appreciate your work.

Yeah again, thank you so much, your work is appriciated. Took my Dragonpriest out this weekend - and it was a huge success, people recognized me a lot for what I actually was - and some were even able to guess Krosis.
So thank your for all your work!

Hello there once again Skyrim fans! Been working pretty hard on these new pieces. I had to actually go in and fix the models before they were ready for pepakura. So, if you notice some few differences then, that is why. It is mainly on the Dwarven files because they used to intersect in weird places and I deleted those objects and recreated parts to work. Some of these files were requested, so just trying to give back to the fans, all of you. I just hit the 250 mark for how many files I've released. So, a big thank you to all the loyal fans who credit me and have been busy themselves building like crazy. You all are the reason I do this. Yes, its tedious, and I can spend hours on one file, but I enjoy seeing the cosplayers with my files, and others who create the weapons as well. Once again, a big thank you from me to all of you!

And now onto the files! There are some Iron Female files, and the rest are Dwarven weapons. Make sure to scale the armor pieces for yourselves before printing! Enjoy!

Wow, I love the Dwarven weapons, great addition, Zombie! Some of my favorite axes there.
Just finished building the Stahlrim helmet and it's currently getting papermached.. And here already I wonder if I should build something else...
stahlr10.jpg
In case you are wondering about the last picture: Tried something new here - added a layer of papermache on the inside during building for additional stability. It works but you can only do small parts and then wait before continuing to build or you'll have a soggy mess that won't hold shape. But at least with the hollow horns it really helped and I will do this for parts that are hollow like this in the future.

Thank you so much for the Dwarven weapon files Zombie, i cant wait to make the greatsword. Im making it at 80% size, which is about 121 cm long.
My friend is making Deadric armour, and wants to do the belt/loincloth. Thing is, we dont know how to make it, or what to use, and other cosplays dont have it. If anyone has any idea's, that would be awesome thanks.

One thought would be to freehand something out of pleather/vinyl to give it that 'heavy armor" feel while not having to sacrifice a great deal of mobility. If you have access to large sheets of paper (or really thin cardboard) you could wrap that around the waist and sketch out the basic outline/template for the foundation and build off from there. I'd imagine the "Undersuit and Soft Armor" forum and/or the "Help for misc" thread might also be good places to seek answers and ideas from more experienced members.

I stumbled across this and I am in awe! I have spent hours of my night staying up much later than I should (Especially since I have a toddler who will wake me up at dawn) reading through all of these posts. Zombie... hats off to you! I went to Comic-Con in San Diego last week and I was inspired by many of the costumes people had created. I found out about pepakura this morning and somehow ended up here! My stepson has been begging me to make him a Skyrim mask for quite some time now! He is going to be floored by all of the work you have done! I am very new to all of this but I look forward to jumping into a project from this board! Thank you Thank you Thank you! I had to make an account just to tell you how much I appreciate what you have done here. I look forward to checking out the other boards and seeing what people are making but this seriously made my night!

I may have missed it, but I used the thread search feature and still didn't find it. It seems that the Dwarven Torso file is missing, I'm going to use them for a Dwarven armor cosplay! Thanks for all these awesome Pepakura files!

[edt]: Nvm I found it :)

Cool, are you doing pepakura or using the templates with foam? Im doing Dwarven too.

It hasn't been posted here yet, but there was someone requesting the Imperial heavy armor set. After all the times Zombie's asked what's next and what's left, I'm rather disappointed in myself for not remembering the imperial armor. I mean the light armor, sure, it's all leather so pep wouldn't work for it, but how could I forget the heavy armor or even the shields (and those are some of the coolest looking shields in the game). Speaking of shields, I can't remember, has Auriel's shield (Dawnguard expansion) been done? That thing was fun to use.
