Oh, Zombie. I am so sorry to hear that you've having such a hard time.

I also found someone that successfully ripped my favorite mod from Skyrim and put it in obj form. Are you still interested in unfolding it or does anyone else want a shot at it? Its the Silver Knight mod by JackGa. If anyone is interested, give me a shout.

Hello brothers and sisters of Skyrim. Sorry, but last quick update. I went to the hospital again for pain, so I have been distracted with the unfolding of models. I'm working on them right now, because I want to release them in the next few days. I apologize but I am unable to properly unfold the elven models. Some pieces just hang without any support and because of this, do not make for good pep files. But, I'm finishing the Steel Bow right now as I type this, so in the next few days I will have something concrete for you to download.

praising talos for your wellness. i hope the pain eases up soon.

Hello once again brothers and sisters of Skyrim! No, this isn't a quick update, this is a download session! Oh my yes. I have a few Bows for everyone to download as well as a new piece that isn't necessarily Skyrim technically, but fits right in. The new piece is intended for the release of Elder Scrolls Online, which is right around the corner for PC players. I'll be waiting for the Xbox 1 version so, June for me, but I didn't want to make everyone wait until June for it. It is the Masque of Molag Bal. From what I've seen in trailers, he should be featured heavily in the game. This piece was supposed to be a mask, but doesn't quite work out like that due to the sharp edges. However, it works great as a trophy piece, very similar to the Dragon Skull I already have released. Enjoy!

I really hope you're feeling better!
And thanks for the files, just when I have a bit of free time coming up... I've wanted a bow as a prop for a long time, now all I need to do is decide which one to pick. Currently drawn between the Dwarven and the Glass bow with Orc in 3rd place... ah, choices...

Noticing some more disparities between the names of the extracted pieces and the in-game names. The Draugr bow is referred to as the Ancient Nord bow in game, Iron bow is the Imperial bow, and Steel Bow is the Hunting Bow. Was always partial to the aesthetics of the imperial bow, but almost always end up using either the crossbow or Zephyr (dwarven bow) for it's increased draw speed.

Great work as always Zombie. Can't wait to see what you come out with next.

that mask would be really scary to have in a bedroom. lol. his personality in elder scrolls online is pretty spooky.

sooo....any idea on this in the future?
its a dragon priest from the starting area of eso

Just started cutting out the first few pieces of the glass bow - I think this will be my most complicated build yet. I am glad I've built a few models before so I have some experience but wow, with those details I'll need to be extremely precise!

Also, hint for scaling for all attempting this: I have a horsebow that I actually shoot (http://nephtis.deviantart.com/art/Archer-325985353) and that one (unbend) is roughly 140 cm long. Those files are 120 cm. So if you build this and even considering that horse bows while rather short have a strong curve, you need to consider scaling those files up a lot according to your body size. Especially if you are building something like a regular hunting bow.

I chose 110% which should make it a little larger than my real bow but hopefully not too large for me as a person. After all this is not one designed to be used from the back of a horse and it already has the curve.
You should be able to hold it comfortably so maybe scale the hand grip for your hand and the rest should fall in place? There isn't an arrow rest on those bows, so you'll have to shoot over the back of your hand. So maybe make sure the decorative elements on top of the grip give you enough space for that too.

I know, I am nitpickicking... but with a build this complicated, I hope to avoid re-building it when you figure out you scaled it wrong half-way into the project...

Nice bow :) i tend to favor recurve or long bows. AMO on a couple of mine are 60' string. (hope that helps you out a bit) Length unstrung is about 64' for most of them as well. If you would like some size reference pics, let me know, i could even measure them if that would help. Glass bow does look more like a horsebow though than a recurve so what you shoot is probably closer in scale. I am hopefully going to start work on Ashe's LOL bow so post a separate build thread! I would love to follow it for some bow prop tips.

Brothers! Sisters! Skyrim! Behold, I have another set of armor for you to download. This time I didn't blow out the entire set, I just did one because it was asked of me, and it didn't look like I would get lost unfolding it. I had to take some liberties because the armor has a lot of under armor, and choosing which pieces were armor and what wasn't, was challenging. So, here it is, the Skyrim Dragonborn DLC Male Heavy Chitin Armor! Make sure to scale for yourself before printing! Enjoy!

These are some awesome files Grimm!!!

As I may have stated earlier in this thread, any chance of (eventually) doing a Troll skull? Please?

AWE YES!
ive been checking this thread every 5 hours waiting for those files.
thank you very much!

I converted the Chitin armor to foam if anyone wants the set, pm me. the helmet is still paper though.

Sooooo... anybody here busy checking out the new game? Any new impressive armor sets and weapons that beg to be made? ;p Sorry for straying off topic, just curious if anybody fell in love with a design yet.

Hello brothers and sisters of Skyrim! Zombie here with a quick update! I'm working on two new armor sets to be released. I'm on some pain pills for the medical issues I'm dealing with, so I'm a little out of it. Fear not, as I am still unfolding files. Its just taking a little more time than usual because I need to take things a little slower. I'm not sure when I will have the armor finished, but it should be soon. I will be releasing a one shot file in the next few days to keep everyone happy until the bigger batch follows. I appreciate the love you all have for Skyrim!

I love seeing other people's work on my files. Plus, I'd love to see all of you in Skyrim one day. Oregon fits almost perfectly for a real Skyrim. One day, I'm gonna LARP like an idiot so hardcore. Until then, please feel free to post pictures of your work!

I love seeing other people's work on my files.

So, my stuff is a little different. I like creating a paper model, not doing the whole rondo, paint, etc. Technically, these aren't quite ZG's files since I need to re-grab the data from Skyrim along with the texture but I do follow ZG's files to do the unfolding. Anywho, here's the Helm of Yngol and ebony war axe paper models that I've done:

I am so glad to finally have all these Skyrim files at my disposal, but I'm a bit lazy, is there any files for the textures for these? I'm currently working on the Daedric Helmet with the textures already with it.
