this is just a start i did not have an exato-knife so i just used a knife and scissors (ended up by slicing my thumb)

and here is the ODST side waist plates.

now don't take this the wrong way when I say this... The standard colors are fine (gunmetal grey with blue stripe..) However -i'm just throwing this out there, This is YOUR project, make it unique to yourself, if you want to do the standard ODST then do it, if not then take a look at other projects for a bit of inspiration, either way... I always like to watch an ODSTs progress, good luck.

Here is the side waist plate painted (i went with a black instead of gun metal gray by i will still put some on to give a scratchy effect)
